Ahead of COP30, we expanded the program’s horizons in July to August of 2025 by bringing Chinese students to Brazil. This immersive journey allowed them to explore the country’s rich biomes firsthand, gaining direct experience in biodiversity conservation and tangible climate action.

We co-launch limited edition of paper products designed with winning works.
With knowledge contributed by Ecofuturo, an NGO we founded and manage in Brazil, we provide fun, beautifully designed Sino-Brazil nature education materials that make learning about conservation and ecology an adventure.
We offer hands-on learning experiences that connect students directly with nature and the principles of biodiversity.
Our role in China extends beyond our own sustainability goals. We act as a catalyst, dedicated to elevating environmental performance and best practices for the country’s pulp and paper ecosystem.
In 2022, a national, industry-focused Sustainability Development Committee (SDC) under CPICC (China Paper and Pulp Industry Chamber of Commerce) with around 30 leading companies in the global and China P&P industry, initiated by Suzano. Click here to learn more.
In 2024, Suzano China officially joined the UN Global Compact (UNGC), pledging to support the Ten Principles of the UNGC in the areas of Human Rights, Labor, Environment and Anti-Corruption.
In 2024, we established the “Suzano Innovability Scholarship” at SJTU’s China-UK Low Carbon College; In 2024 and 2025, we cooperated on a sustainability training program for value chain partners. Click here to learn more.

In 2025, we launched the World Environment Rare Animal Species Series of Carbon Neutral Notebook with Sun Paper and M&G. This product has been certified by SGS, making it the first product in China’s pulp and paper industry to receive ISO 14068-1 verification. Click here to learn more.
In 2025, we partnered with Deloitte China and Professor Wang Yutao’s team from Fudan University to launch the first comprehensive decarbonization guide in China’s pulp and paper industry, outlining clear pathways to a low-carbon transition in line with China’s dual carbon reduction targets.
