The awards program, organized by the Shanghai Foreign Investment Association, aims to recognize outstanding localized ESG practices by foreign-invested enterprises in Shanghai and to promote exemplary projects in the fields of environment, social responsibility, and corporate governance. Starting in August of this year, the Association opened a call for submissions from foreign-invested enterprises in Shanghai, inviting their China-specific ESG reports published for the 2024–2025 period, as well as ESG practice cases in China drawn from sustainability reports issued by global headquarters. Following a process of collection, screening, and professional evaluation, the selection of outstanding ESG reports and practice cases for 2025 was announced during the conference. Among the winners, Suzano was honored, along with seven other foreign-invested enterprises, with the “2025 Leading ESG Practice Case for Foreign-Invested Enterprises in Shanghai” for its green panda bond issuance initiative detailed in its 2024 Sustainability Report.

The winners of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Excellence Award were honored at an event guided by the Shanghai Global News Network and organized by Shanghai Daily. Leading multinationals were accredited for their outstanding contribution in the corporate social responsibility field.

Initiated by Fortune China, this annual impact list evaluates corporate ESG performance, setting benchmarks for sustainable development. In 2025, it expanded eligibility to include foreign-owned and joint ventures in China. In May, Suzano was named to the 2025 Fortune China ESG Impact List, becoming the only representative from the pulp industry and the sole Brazilian company selected.

Jointly organized by MEE, the campaign seeks to advance the construction of a Beautiful China, accelerate modernization that harmonizes humanity and nature, support the implementation of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework, and raise public awareness of biodiversity conservation. In June, Suzano was included in the 2025 List of Exemplary Cases of Business Biodiversity Conservation.

Organized by Yicai and jointly initiated by the Carbon Neutrality Development Research Institute of Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Shanghai Environment and Energy Exchange, this initiative promotes carbon reduction and sustainable development practices among corporates, advancing the carbon peak and carbon neutrality process while jointly promoting a green energy economy and high-quality development. In June, Suzano won the Green Innovation Award at the 3rd China Corporate Carbon Neutrality Performance List.
